The
Tongue and Groove Antique Pine Flooring we produce provides greater
flexibility to the homeowner. Our flooring is "center-matched"
to provide the ability of the installer of this product to select
the best side of the flooring and to determine the final look
of the flooring installed.
This is recycled material, with nail holes and sometimes bolt
holes appearing in the boards after they are cut from the beams.
You can determine how much of these "character marks"
or historic characteristics appear in your flooring. One side
of this flooring may have more nail holes than the other, so you
can vary the amount of content of these markings with this center-matched
flooring.
We
do not cut these out, providing a 10.5 ft board to you for you
to determine the amount of marking you desire in your flooring.
The result of this type of flooring is a floor that has a lot
of "character" - a floor that has an immediate legacy
and will continue to age gracefully in your home.
We
offer several grades
of this flooring and these grades are separated according to nail
hole content and heart content, as well as several widths.

Our
Tongue & Groove Center-Matched Flooring is 3/4" in thickness
with the Tongue and Groove centered in the board so that it is
possible to use the board on either side. As discussed above this
provides the ability to utilize the best side of the board, or
the side of the board that best matches the look you desire in
your flooring.
